Community Discount Policy
Verified students and non-profit organizations receive a one-time extra 20% addon discount on shared hosting services — because giving back to the community is part of how SastoHost grows.
Our Aim: Giving Back To The Community
SastoHost exists because Nepal's student and non-profit community builds with limited budgets. This policy gives verified students and registered non-profit organizations an extra 20% addon discount on eligible shared hosting services.
The discount is an additional community benefit applied on top of the regular shared hosting price at the time of review — our way of supporting learning, teaching, volunteering, and public-good work.
Who Qualifies
Students: currently enrolled school, college, or university students in Nepal or Nepali students studying abroad, with a valid student ID card, enrollment / admission letter, or institutional email address.
Non-profit organizations: registered NGOs, INGO chapters, charitable trusts, community groups, schools, libraries, and student-led clubs able to share a registration certificate, SWC affiliation, school letterhead, or equivalent proof.
The account name and verification documents should belong to the same student or organization claiming the discount.
20% Addon Discount Details
Eligible customers receive 20% off as an addon discount (billing adjustment / credit) on qualifying shared hosting purchases.
The discount applies once to a new shared hosting order (annual or multi-year where available) after verification. It is limited to one qualifying service per student or organization, unless approved in writing for classroom / lab use.
The community discount cannot be combined with other coupon codes, reseller pricing, or special campaign pricing unless SastoHost confirms otherwise in writing.
One-Time Benefit — Not A Repeat Discount
This is a one-time community benefit per student or organization. It can be claimed only once, on the first eligible shared hosting order.
The discount does not renew, repeat, or re-apply — not on renewals, upgrades, plan changes, additional services, or later orders, including orders placed under a different account to claim it again.
Claiming this benefit repeatedly — for example through multiple accounts, re-verification, or re-ordering — is treated as misuse and may lead to discount removal and account restriction.
How To Claim
Step 1 — Order or hold your plan: choose an eligible shared hosting plan and complete checkout, or contact us before ordering if you need a proforma invoice.
Step 2 — Send verification: open a support ticket or message us on the contact page with your order / invoice number plus student or non-profit proof.
Step 3 — We review and apply: once approved, we apply the 20% addon discount as a billing adjustment or account credit, usually within 1–3 business days.
Verification Documents
Students: photo of a valid student ID, recent enrollment / admission letter, fee receipt, or verification from an institutional email address.
Non-profits: registration certificate, SWC / local government affiliation, school or ward-office letter, or equivalent public documentation.
We may ask for a short description of the website's educational or public-benefit purpose and may re-verify eligibility at renewal.
Fair Use And Limits
Community-discounted hosting remains subject to the Terms of Service, Fair Usage Policy, and acceptable-use rules. Misuse, resale of the discounted service, or false verification leads to discount removal and may lead to suspension.
SastoHost may pause or update this community program at any time, but approved discounts already applied to an active billing term are honored until that term ends.
